Better Horse Steering
Better Horse Steering improves the way players control horses and other rideable land mobs, making their movement feel more like driving a car.
In vanilla Minecraft, riding horses feels boring, stiff and hard to control, the horse always look at the same direction as the player, and right/left movements are so bad. This mod changes the steering mechanics.
Recommended For Better Experience

In short, All the mobs that inheret from the AbstractHorseEntity class.
How to Use
The controls are simple and intuitive:
- W / S → Move the mob forward or backward in the direction it is currently facing.
- A / D → Smoothly rotate the mob left or right (like steering a car).
- Ctrl → Sprint
Instead of instantly changing the horse direction where the player is looking, now it rotates gradually, creating a more realistic and controlled riding experience.
Why Use This Mod?
If you enjoy traveling with rideable mobs like horses but find their movement awkward, Better Horse Steering gives you a more modern and intuitive control style.
