Changelog
- Render settings now persist between game restarts, instead of resetting to default every time you start the game
- Changed the default and recommended render angle from isometric to dimetric for area renders (and any other render types that didn't use it before) for consistency purposes
- This is because 3D items in UIs (such as blocks) use dimetric rendering, dimetric has been used for all previous area renders on the Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki (presumably because Mineshot used it), and I think BlockBench also uses it
- Added two options related to not overriding entity head/body rotations
- Added a "hide nametag" option to entity renders, defaulted to enabled
- This option is hidden if the only contents of the entity that are rendered by default is the nametag
- Nametags are automatically hidden for sprite renders
- Added the ability to select nametag-based entities in the world for rendering, such as invisible armor stands with text
- (more specifically, any entities that only render their text before that therefore couldn't be selected before)
- Added two new image rescale modes, rescale the shorter side, and rescale the longer side, and changed the default rescale mode from vertical to the longer side
- Added support for negative rotations per second
- Added an "include corners" option for when showing surrounding walls in topdown area rendering, defaulted to false (previously true)
- Added an option to not brighten the edges of meshes with lighting (useful in some cases)
- Increased the max file name length from 32 to 100 characters
- Improved how player skins are handled, meaning you shouldn't see a default skin temporarily show on the screen for multiple seconds when rendering a player you haven't rendered before
- Increased the distance on the render entity keybind from 20 to 30 blocks
- Changed the options that say "Requires Rebuild" to simply rebuild the mesh when changed instead, and then changed the text to "Rebuilds Mesh"
- Changed the export button to say "Export (F12)" instead of just "Export", as that is a keybind that exists
- Changed the default FFmpeg export mode from Disk-Cache Intensive to FFmpeg First Pass
- Changed the default spacing on item atlases from 1.25x to 1x
- Changed
/wikirender unsafeto/wikirender debug unsafe - Made some changes related to UI scale handling
- Removed the ability to change the values of certain properties by scrolling on their sliders
- This is because it made it very annoying to scroll down the list of properties without changing those values, particularly on larger GUI scales
- Fixed glitchiness with spamming the topdown mesh expansion buttons
- Fixed a rare crash related to block entity rendering while building a mesh
- Fixed armor stand and text display nametags sometimes not appearing in area renders
- Fixed a rendering issue related to glowing entities
- Fixed the fire animation not rendering on entity renders
- Fixed custom player skins not being used when rendering yourself if the server has sent you a custom player skin, when not rendering the live entity (i.e. when nicked on Hypixel)
- Fixed areas being rendered with night vision even if the option is turned off if you have the night vision effect
