AetherFlow (Letterbox Mod): Dive into a Cinematic Experience

Welcome to the first release of AetherFlow! This mod is the beginning of our vision to transform your Minecraft experience, adding a touch of cinematic immersion and ambiance.

🌟 Key Features of this Version:

AetherFlow v1.0.0 introduces an elegant Cinematic Letterbox effect that visually enhances your game when you sneak.

• Dynamic Letterbox Effect: Black bars appear at the top and bottom of your screen, simulating a widescreen cinematic aspect ratio.
• Sneak Activation: The effect smoothly fades in and out when your character sneaks (default: Shift key).
• Advanced Fade-in/Fade-out Animation: The bars appear and disappear with a fluid animation featuring high-quality easing. Experience a rapid start and dramatic slowdown at the end of each transition, delivering a polished and professional feel.
• Screen-Proportional Bar Thickness: The size of the bars automatically adjusts to your screen's resolution, maintaining a consistent aesthetic regardless of your GUI scale settings.
• Customizable Animation Duration (in code): The fade speed is currently set to 1 second (20 ticks). If you desire a faster or slower transition, you can adjust the FADE_DURATION_TICKS value in LetterboxClientMixin.java.
• Adjustable Bar Thickness (in code): The base bar thickness scales dynamically (currently height / 24.0F). You can modify the 24.0F value in LetterboxClientMixin.java for fine-tuning to your personal preference.

🎬 Our Vision (Roadmap):

AetherFlow v1.0.0 is just the first step. We envision a more comprehensive mod that integrates:

• More Cinematic Effects: Additional visual filters and framing options.
• Ambient Animations: Enhanced particles, falling leaves, weather effects.
• Fresh Movements: More fluid and detailed player and mob animations.
• In-Game Configuration Options: Allowing users to customize all aspects of the mod directly from within Minecraft.

We aim to build a deeper, more atmospheric experience in Minecraft, and this letterbox mod is the foundation of that journey.

🚀 Installation:

1. Ensure you have Fabric Loader installed for Minecraft 1.21.4 (or another compatible version you compiled the mod with).
2. Download the .jar file from this release's "Assets" section.
3. Place the downloaded .jar file into your Minecraft mods folder.
4. Launch Minecraft and enjoy the new cinematic immersion!
